Jeffrey L. Butler, Sr. is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BBI Development Group LLC (BBI), a national real estate development company specializing in master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, hospitality, commercial real estate, and transformational public-private initiatives. With more than four decades of experience in real estate development, finance, investment strategy, construction management, and capital structuring, Jeffrey has built a career focused on turning ambitious visions into successful, lasting developments that strengthen communities and create long-term economic value.
Before entering the real estate industry, Jeffrey proudly served in the United States Navy, where he participated in the planning, logistics, and construction of military operating bases from the ground up at locations around the world. The discipline, strategic planning, leadership, and mission-focused execution developed during his military service continue to shape the way BBI Development Group LLC (BBI) approaches every project today. Throughout his professional career, Jeffrey has led the development, financing, and execution of hospitality projects, mixed-use developments, commercial real estate, residential communities, and large-scale master-planned destinations across the United States.
Today, Jeffrey leads BBI Development Group LLC (BBI)'s flagship developments, including Town Center at Mansa Park in South Fulton, Georgia, and Destinations by Hyatt Pacifica in California. For Jeffrey, Town Center at Mansa Park is also deeply personal — South Fulton is where his father grew up and where his family's roots were established. Developing this project is an opportunity to give back to a community that holds special meaning to his family by creating jobs, attracting investment, expanding opportunities, and building a destination that will serve future generations.
